Basics & Beyond in ST

- Workshop 1 consists of 4 days and is online for 4 consecutive Saturdays: 3rd, 24th, 31st & 7th JUNE 2025.
- Time: 10.00 am to 6pm
- In these 4 days, you will be introduced to ST and it’s role in complex presentations.
- The workshop will examine in detail both the Schema and Mode Models in ST.
- You will be introduced to the ST Case Conceptualisation, as well as interview techniques and the most commonly used inventories.
- You will go over Cognitive Techniques, Therapeutic Alliance, Empathic Confrontation and Emotive Techniques.
- A whole day will be devoted to the use of Imagery and an introduction into Role play exercises using chairs.
- 18.5 hours of Didactic work and 5.5 hours of Dyadic role plays.
- You can stop at workshop 1 or continue to do workshop 2 & 3.
- Certification is only possible for those who complete all 3 workshops, who pass their rated videos/tapes final exam and who complete required supervision (Timeframe is 2 to 3 years).

- Workshop 2 consists of 2 consecutive Saturdays online: 13th & 20th SEP.
- Starts at 10am and finishes at 6pm.
- See terms under ‘Schema Therapy’ tab in Menu.
- This 2nd workshop will specifically look at the ST protocol for treating both BPD and NPD.
- Skills will be refined and students will be able to practice imagery and chairwork excercises.
- Videos and role plays.

- Workshop 3 is online for 2 consecutive Saturdays: 11th & 18th OCT.
- Starts at 10am and finishes at 6pm.
- See terms under ‘Schema Therapy’ tab in Menu.
- Students will review all Cluster C Disorders with mode conceptualisations of each DSM 5 personality disorder and how to treat them.
- There will be videos and role plays.
- The workshop will end with a review of what is needed for accreditation.
